The sun paints a warm glow that stretches across the afternoon sky
I try to play it cool
But hiding my excitement has proven to be futile
The breeze flies by with the scent of jasmine
Nature's aromatherapy
If I could bottle up this breeze
Then I would label it L.O.V.E.
Because if love was a fragrance, I imagine that this would be it
And I would want so badly to be all drenched in it
Wake up every morning and just cover myself with it

But I digress

I stand next to him
Bewildered by this supernatural connection
We lock eyes and commence to engage in a mental mating ritual of some kind
He takes me by the waist
Commanding my every move
And I collapse in his embrace
Caving into his gravitational pull

My cool has betrayed me
Just up and left me
To weather the storm steadily brewing inside of me
Love is raining down
But there's no need for shelter
As cliched as it sounds
His arms are my shelter
Those arms
Those…long, strong, intimidating yet intriguing arms

We coax one another with not so careful touches
And spur each other on to take it a step further
My inner goddess awakens from her deep slumber as instincts takes over
His physique melds with mine
Our chakras perfectly align

I cling to him
He clings to me
I'm needing him
He's needing me
I'm breathing him
And he's breathing me
Then...the crowning moment when our lips finally meet
